Where Independence Was Born
Our story begins in Guanajuato, Mexico, at Hacienda Corralejo–the birthplace of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, Father of Mexican Independence.
Over 250 years ago, this land became the foundation of rebellion and the beginning of tequila history.

The Heart of Corralejo
Hacienda Corralejo was founded in 1755 and became one of the first estates in Mexico to produce tequila for commercial sale. It remains one of the few distilleries outside Jalisco with official rights to produce tequila. Every part of our process still takes place here, from agave harvest to final bottling.
The Land That Shapes Us
Our agave grows in the high-altitude fields of Guanajuato, where volcanic soil and strong sunlight create a bold, natural flavor. This land is more than our home. It is the reason Corralejo tastes the way it does.
A Legacy That Lives On
Corralejo has more than 250 years of tradition. We use that history as inspiration, not limitation. Every bottle we make today carries the spirit of independence and the lessons of those who came before us.
